Lakeland Motor Museum in Cumbria

RS Home

The Lakeland Motor Museum is 2 miles southwest of Lakeside at the bottom of Lake Windermere. There are often trips from Lakeland included with some Windermere Lake Cruises.

The image below is of the main museum, with the Donald Campbell museum over to the right. Tickets cover both museums.

The image below is of a DeLorean, one of about 9,000 built in Belfast between 1981 and 1982. There are a number of other 70s and 80s UK classics that can also take you back in time.

The image below is of the Donald Campbell Museum in its own building, next to the Lakeland Motor Museum.

There are videos playing all the time, and information all around. These boats and cars are huge. There is also a jet engine cut open to show how they work.
