Mull Attractions Southeast Side

Craignure - PA64 6WZ - small village for the Ferry to Oban on mainland Scotland.

Torosay Castle Gardens - under 1 mile south of Craignure open to the public certain days? Signs at the entrance will state if it is open.

Duart Castle - PA64 6AP - 3 miles south of Craignure for visits and cafe.

Craignure Golf Club - PA65 6AB - 9 hole course 1 mile north of Craignure.

Southwest, Iona & Fingals Cave

Fionnphort - PA66 6BH - small village 35 miles southwest of Craignure for ferries to Iona and boat trips to Fingals Cave with a diner, gift/craft shops, and seafood bar.

Isle of Iona and Abbey - a 5 minute ferry trip from Fionnphort with Iona Abbey a 1 mile walk from the ferry terminal. Island has a diner, museum, shops, beaches, and walking routes.

Staffa Trips - for boat trips to the Isle of Staffa with Fingals Cave.

Southwest Coast

Scenic Coastal Road - starts 16 miles southwest of Craignure on the road to Fionnphort, then take the road north to Gruline. Passes mountains and cliffs with birds of prey.

Ben More Mountain - PA68 6EJ - 3,169ft Mountain on the west side of Mull with a large scenic car park next to the scenic coastal road.

Macquarie Mausoleum - PA71 6HS - on the west side of Mull 6 miles north of the Ben More car park for the grave of Lachlan Macquarie and his family, who helped establish much of New South Wales in Australia. There is about a 1 mile walk from the car park to the Mausoleum.

Central & Northeast Mull

Salen - PA72 6JG - small village for bike hire and a cafe 11 miles north of Craignure, 10 miles south of Tobermory.

Tobermory - PA75 6NT - Main town on Mull 21 miles north of Craignure with a Museum, Whisky Distillery, Aquarium, and Mishnish Hotel where many famous Scots bands have played.

Staffa Tours - Boat Trips from Tobermory to the Isle of Staffa, Fingal’s Cave, and the Treshnish Isles.

Tobermory Campsite - PA75 6QF - 1 mile west of Tobermory for tents, tourers, and shepherds huts.

North & West Coast

Kilmore Standing Stones - PA75 6QN - 7 miles west of Tobermory.

Old Byre Heritage Centre - PA75 6QR - 8 miles west of Tobermory.

Am Birlinn - PA75 6QS - restaurant in a Lodge 10 miles west of Tobermory.

Calgary Beach - PA75 6QT - top beach on Mull west coast 12 miles west of Tobermory also with a Campsite.

Eas Fors Waterfall - Map - 10 miles south of Calgary Beach by the roadside.

Ulva - PA73 6LT - for a small ferry to Ulva Island where there is the Boathouse Restaurant, Sheila's Cottage Heritage Centre, and 3 Walking Routes.

Tarus Mara - boat trips from the Ulva Slip to Fingals Cave and the Treshnish Isles.
