Seaton Carew is a small town on the
northeast coast of England, 3 miles
south of Hartlepool. The town is
popular for its long sandy beach,
amusements, cafes, ice cream shops, and

The Train Station
is situated on the west side of the town,
half of a mile walk from the beach.
The image top is of the main street in
Seaton Carew named The Front. This is a
typical seaside town street with amusements,
cafes, and ice cream shops.
The image second top is of The Green, a
square in the centre of the town by the beach
and promenade.
The image third top is of the promenade by
The Green. You can walk from here to
Hartlepool 3 miles north following this
seaside path. On the walk are a number of
restaurants and vast grasslands for sports

The image right is of Seaton Carew Beach
from the south side. The beach is at its
widest the further south you go.
At the far south end of the beach is the
Teesmouth Nature
Reserve, at the mouth of the River
Tees.
The image right is of the Staincliffe
Hotel on the north side of Seaton Carew, one
of a few hotels with views overlooking the
promenade. This hotel has a beer garden with
sea views.
The image right is of the Seaton Carew
Golf Club, on the south side of the town, a
popular, testing links course that welcomes
visitors.
The image bottom is of the Sports Domes on
the south side of Seaton Carew. The Sports
Domes cater for five a side football, golf,
fitness and has a sports bar. This may be
closed.
The domes stay up with air pressure, so
are tight sealed, an interesting
experience.
