Sia

Sia is an Australian singer songwriter, born 18th Dec 1975, in Adelaide/ South Australia, named Kate Isobelle Furler.

Sia became famous world wide in 2014, aged 39, after the release of her 6th album, 1000 Forms of Fear, with the top tracks, Chandelier, and, Elastic Heart. The Chandelier video is one of the most viewed on YouTube.

Sia set out in her music career while in her late teens with a local acid jazz band named Crisp. She then released a solo album named, Only See.

Sia moved to London / England around 1998 to join a British musical duo named Zero 7. She then released her second solo album, Healing Is Difficult, in 2001, and her third album, Colour the Small One, in 2004.

Sia moved to New York in 2005, and released her fourth album, Some People Have Real Problems, in 2008, and her 5th album, We Are Born, in 2010.

Sia became famous world wide in 2014, aged 39, with the single, Chandelier, and the amazing video that is one of the most viewed on YouTube, that was directed by Sia and Daniel Askill, and features the dancer Maddie Ziegler.

Sia also had a top hit, Titanium, in 2011, with the French DJ and and electro pop master, David Guetta.

Sia released her 7th album, This Is Acting, in 2016, with the top track, Cheap Thrills, making the top 5 in the UK charts.

2021, Sia released the album, Music, with the top track, Courage to Change.
