Mount Snowdon

Mount Snowdon
North Wales, 73 miles southwest of Liverpool. Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales, probably the most climbed mountain in Britain. It is situated in Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd, by the town of Llanberis. The summit is 3,560 ft above sea level. The Snowdon Mountain Railway (a rack railway) now runs to the top for anyone not fit enough to hike to the top.
