Below is a list of Websites for the Isles of North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist and Eriskay off the northwest coast of Scotland. The main Ferries run from Uig on the Isle of Skye to Lochmaddy on North Uist, about 1 hour 40 minutes travel, 33 miles. You can now drive to Skye via the Skye Bridge. There is also a smaller Ferry that travels between the north side of North Uist and the south side of the Isle of Harris. South Uist, Benbecula and Eriskay are connected to North Uist by Causeway Roads. The main Ferry to South Uist is from Oban to Lochboisdale on South Uist, about 88 miles, about 5 hours travel. These four Islands are normally visited at the same time. These are remote peaceful Islands with good Beaches, Walking/Hiking routes, Fishing, Island Golf, Water Sports, and Boat Trips.
