Coll is a small Island 13 miles deep by 3 miles
wide, with a population of under 200. The Island has
one small Village named Arinagour, situated close to
the Ferry Slip. The Island has some stunning Beaches,
interesting Wildlife and is a designated Dark Skies
area, ideal for viewing the Stars. There is one
Hotel, one Hostel, two Camp Sites, and a number of
Self Catering Cottages.
On a Thursday in Summer, the Ferries allow an 8
hour visit for a Day Trip, all other days allow only
2 hours.
The same Ferries also run to the neighbouring
Island of Tiree. The Ferries depart from the town of
Oban.
